Welcome to Jubilee Camping - a quiet and idyllic rural getaway situated in the village of Damerham, on the Hampshire/Dorset border and 5 miles from the New Forest National Park. Perfect for country pursuits (Fly and Carp Fishing both within a couple of miles), cycling, horse riding, and fine dining, and within easy reach of Salisbury, Southampton, and Bournemouth. Bring your bikes for the best way to view our magical surroundings.
Our campsite offers 3 fields of generously sized 10 metre-squared camping pitches - ample space for one car and a good sized family tent, however additional car parking is available if required. Basic amenities are provided, i.e. water points, toilets and hot showers, but in addition you may wish to hire one of our cosy firepits with a supply of wood, some available to cook on or simply as a warming focal point to sit around and toast marshmallows.
We have two areas within our ancient woodland, nestled amongst the native Oak, Sycamore, Holly and Beech trees, for you to exclusively hire as a Family group booking. These secluded areas can hold up to either 7 or 10 average tents (depending on size) and each have their own firepit encircled in stones as a perfect focal point for your gathering. The woodland clearings are available to hire as a whole, only, but are perfect for a multi family camp-out weekend (no adult-only groups). Please note that campsite rules regarding Quiet Time (no music and voices lowered between10pm - 8am please), rubbish disposal etc still apply. (Please also note, at the campsite owners' discretion, alternative secluded pitching sites may be required at times of adverse weather conditions). Tents only within the woodland; all vehicles to be parked on the adjacent grassy area.
Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind, and escape to the countryside where any traffic jams are down to the local Farmer in his tractor, and the only tweeting done is by the birds in the trees.
Dogs and their well-behaved owners are very welcome, but we do ask for them to be kept on a lead at all times (the dogs!) and for all mess to be cleared up (both dogs and owners!). Please be respectful of fellow campers, our livestock, and the beautiful Village in which we're located. A short drive into the New Forest and you'll be spoilt for choice for stunning dog walks - your pooch will be in heaven!
To ensure we have happy campers we respectfully ask for any noise to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am. This means music off please and voices lowered, thank you. This applies in all areas of the campsite, and please remember that your children are your responsibility. Anyone causing a serious disturbance may be asked to leave the site with no refund.
Damerham is an active farming village and offers beautiful local walks; along the stream and up to the little church, and is also home to The Compasses Inn - a popular country pub serving superb lunches and evening meals. www.compassesinndamerham.co.uk 01725 518231.
