Planning a Wedding or other event in the near future where you and your guests can camp over? If you're hoping for a rustic event, like a 'back to basics' Wedding Reception, with acres of rural countryside to call your own for a weekend, then our Family Farm campsite could be just the 'blank canvas' you're looking for.
Catering available in the form of delicious handmade pizzas cooked in our wood-fired oven, and/or a traditional Hog Roast using locally sourced meat. On site bar available, as well as toilets and showers. Design your own event, and book your own marquee of your choice. For suggestions of marquee hire, please ask.
Please note, the campsite is not licensed as a Wedding Venue, instead it can be used to hold a Wedding Reception with or without a Ceremony with a Celebrant. Also suitable for Pagan Ceremonies including Handfasting, Woodland Ceremony (Option 2) etc., perhaps after a Registry Office. Wind down after your special day with Friends and Family, by toasting marshmallows and stargazing within an International Dark Skies Reserve.
Option 1, £2,000:
2 nights (10am Friday to 6pm Sunday), on a weekend we are open for Public Camping - You will have exclusive use of a 5-acre field with stunning sunset views, to accommodate your marquee, guest parking, and up to 30 pitches for your guests' tents. It is suggested you book additional portable toilets, but use of the shower block can be shared with the rest of the campsite. Use of our Pizza and/or Hog Roast catering is required at least once for you and your guests, but additional catering arrangements could be made. If you require a bar at your event we request you use our on-site Shepherd's Hut Bar. Let us know if there are any special requests of what to serve. Please note, catering and bar are charged separately to venue hire. As the event would run whilst the Campsite is open to the general public, albeit in a separate field, please be aware that ALL MUSIC AND ANY GENERATORS MUST BE SWITCHED OFF BY 10PM, as per general campsite rules regarding 'Quiet Time'.
Option 2, £3,500
2 nights (10am Friday to 6pm Sunday) exclusive use of the entire 25-acre campsite, including use of our Woodland for a magical Ceremony (celebrant to be booked by you, but we have suggestions if required). There is ample space for a marquee(s), all guest parking, and up to 60 pitches for your guests' tents. All toilets and showers are available for your use, but you can book additional mobile facilities if required. Use of our Pizza and/or Hog Roast catering is required at least once for you and your guests, but additional catering arrangements could be made. If you require a bar at your event we request you use our on-site Shepherd's Hut Bar. Let us know if there are any special requests of what to serve. Please note, catering and bar are charged separately to venue hire. Whilst you'll have the use of the whole site, the positioning of any amplified music is the decision of Jubilee Camping, so as to minimise disturbance. The music, and any generators used, will need to be switched off by 11pm.
A 50% deposit will be required at time of booking, with the remainder due no less than 30 days before the date of event. Deposit and balance payments are non-refundable, unless (in the rare event) the booking is cancelled by Jubilee Camping, in which case a refund of all monies paid will be issued. Rescheduling the event may be possible, but not guaranteed. If your event requires a Temporary Event Notice from the local Council (for amplified music, sale of alcohol etc), this will be submitted by Jubilee Camping and your booking will be dependant on a successful application. Maximum number of any persons on site at any time is 499.
